Terms & Conditions
Last updated: September 21, 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of LexBuild ("the Service"), an interactive terms-of-service and legal document builder. The Service is operated by Wajih Alkhiami ("the Seller", "we", "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. You are contracting with the Seller.
1. The Service
LexBuild generates customized legal document templates (such as terms of service texts) from your answers to a short questionnaire, and provides the result as copyable text and downloadable HTML. Generated documents are templates for informational purposes and do not constitute legal advice.
2. Licence
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service and, upon purchase, to use the generated documents for your own websites and products. You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service or its template library itself, and you may not reverse engineer or circumvent technical limits of the Service.
3. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose, fraud, or spam;
- infringe the intellectual property rights of others;
- interfere with the security or operation of the Service, including by introducing malware, probing, scanning, or scraping the Service;
- misrepresent generated documents as legal advice or as drafted by a licensed attorney.
4. Intellectual property
The Seller retains all ownership of the Service and its intellectual property, including the software, template library, documentation, and branding. Documents you generate and purchase are yours to use as described in Section 2.
5. Payments and orders
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.
6. Service level
The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance, and we disclaim all implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) to the fullest extent permitted by law.
7. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or special damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill). Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where such exclusion is not permitted by law.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; documents you have already purchased and downloaded remain yours to use under Section 2.
9. General
You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect.
